Verity Systems, leading manufacturer of disc publishing equipment, today announced the release of their professional, disc duplicating and printing systems for Blu-ray disc media with the launch of the CopyDisc BD Series.

Offering more than five times the capacity of traditional DVDs, (25GB), the CopyDisc BD series has been developed to enable the storage, duplication and dissemination of large amounts of data.

The CopyDisc BD series is available in many configurations. Fitted with four Pioneer Blu-ray burners, the CopyDisc Blaze BD auto-loading duplicator delivers hands-free duplication of up to 660 Blu-ray discs in a single batch. With the CopyDisc Storm BD auto-loading publisher, you can combine four Blu-ray drives with a choice of industry leading, on-disc printers including the Panther and Puma inkjet printers, the Prism Plus! thermal printer and the TEAC P-55 thermal re-transfer printer.

"This new range of high capacity duplicating and printing systems delivers Verity Systems highest performance, disc publishing systems to date" says Aron Hunt, US Sales Manager at Verity Systems. "It addresses the growing demand for Blu-ray, high volume disc publishing and is best suited for professional users with advanced storage needs."

Retaining all the features of the highly regarded CopyDisc auto-loading range, once a job is started, operation is completely automatic. Advanced robotics transport blank Blu-ray discs into the waiting burners for copying. Discs are then moved to the printer for on-surface printing or directly to the output spindles.

Hunt adds "Film and video production professionals who may require high-definition disc burning and printing can now confidently do so with the CopyDisc BD series which offers unsurpassed quality and reliability."

The CopyDisc4 Blaze BD sells for $7,999 (MSRP), the CopyDisc4 Storm BD with Puma inkjet printer sells for $9,199(MSRP). All models are available immediately through Verity Systems authorized partners around the world.
