"The new Producer Software Suite v8.2 adds many easy-to-use features to Rimage’s already intuitive software," says Manny Almeida, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Rimage. Producer Software Suite v8.2 includes a new WebQDTM interface, content encryption for CDs, DVDs, and Blu-ray discs, a direct link to Rimage’s KnowledgeBase, and Windows® WatchFolders. In addition, Producer Software Suite is now compatible with Windows VistaTM end users. Rimage’s new WebQD application allows users to create disc publishing jobs from anywhere on the network without having to install a client application. Users simply enter the address of the Rimage system into their web browser to enable disc burning and printing capabilities from anywhere on their network. WatchFolders are now available for both Macintosh® and Windows® platforms. They enable users to seamlessly burn and print jobs without the need for any programming. The popular Rimage KnowledgeBase, introduced last November, provides fast answers to end user questions and is now incorporated into all Rimage client application help menus. After entering a question, the KnowledgeBase furnishes an answer via text or video. The KnowledgeBase is continually updated with new answers.
