Utilizing Realtek’s DSP codec – ALC5501, TotalMedia Theatre delivers high-definition audio to users with much lower CPU usage. This is accomplished while safeguarding performance, and minimizing power consumption to satisfy energy-conscious users. This solution is demonstrated in Realtek’s stand (#164) at the Energy-Efficient Audio section in IDF.
