Verbatim Corporation has announced that it is shipping the new Digital CD Photo Album digital photo kit. Digital CD Photo Album includes Photo Burning Software, CDs, Label Kit, and CDStorage Album. The slideshows can be viewed on virtually any TV equipped with a DVD player that plays VideoCDs, according to Verbatim.

Specific material in the suite is Pinnacle Systems' Instant PhotoAlbum LE software for organizing and burning slideshows, a 10-pack spindle of Verbatim 2-4X Rewritable CD-RW discs, Verbatim's Touchless Label Kit, 20 labels, and a CD Photo Album that stores up to 40 recorded discs. Users have the option of creating their own personal slideshow or selecting one of the ready-to-use templates. The software supports importing digital photos from most devices, including digital cameras, flash memory cards, CDs, or a hard drive. Basic editing tools are also included for photo manipulation. Slideshows can also be customized by adding background music or narration. A real-time preview window is included so users can view their results at any time and try out different enhancements. The same software can be used to burn the slideshow to disc.

Recorded discs can then be further customized with the label kit. The kit utilizes Verbatim's Touch-Less application system to center the label on CDs without touching the label adhesive.

Verbatim's Digital CD Photo Album is available for a suggested list price of $29.99.
