Olympus has announced that the new S-DVD-100 DVD/CD R/W has been added to its Total Imaging Solution family of products.

The new recording devices enable users to store digital photos directly on DVD or CD media without using a PC. Users simply connect a Canon IR series digital camera to the S-DVD-100 DVD R/W to record their images to disc.

S-DVD-100 will be available in May 2005 at an estimated price of $399.99.
