ARCHOS, a developer of small audio and video digital media solutions, has announced the Pocket Video Recorder AV4100, a 100GB portable video player (PVP) and recorder. The AV4100 incorporates recording and scheduling capabilities, audio recording and playback, photo viewing, and data storage.

The AV4100 allows users to record television shows and movies directly from a TV, VCR, cable set-top box, or satellite receiver with a TV Cradle. The PVP also includes a built-in Compact Flash reader for transferring photos directly from digital cameras.

The AV4100 model will be available at the end of February with a suggested retail price of $799.95.
