Acterna, a developer of test and management solutions for consumer and business broadband communications, has announced that it has entered into an agreement with Interra Systems, a provider of customizable technology components and services, to offer Interra's new H.264 Analyzer.

Interra's H.264 Analyzer is used in an offline environment to study audio/video elementary streams, complementing Acterna's realtime transport stream analysis. The H.264 Analyzer also studies a range of audio/video streams and verifies them for compliance using several digital media standards including H.264 (MPEG-4 Part 10 AVC), MPEG-2 Transport, MPEG-4 Video, MP4, 3GPP, AAC Audio, and AMR.
